About me

About me

I live on the edge of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in the heart of Scotland. I’m surrounded by nature, it’s been inspirational to my stories.

I’ve been involved in the Arts since I was a teenager. At 15 I had a unique emotional experience, an epiphany if you will, during a performance of Brecht’s ‘Mother Courage’. That night I made the biggest and best decision of my life, I was going to be a storyteller!

It was no surprise that I ended up at Drama School. My career has been in theatre and television.

I’ve been at the BBC for 27 years. I’ve worked on numerous children’s shows including CBeebies’ ‘Balamory’, ‘Bits & Bobs’, ‘Nina and the Neurons’, ‘My Story’ and ‘Down on the Farm’.

My passions are storytelling and empowering children to seek adventures through creativity. I love stories, reading them and telling them. Creativity is my life, work and play.

I want to share my stories and ideas with you so they can spark curiosity and imagination.
